All clients are required to accept the below policies prior to booking an appointment. If you have questions or concerns, please send me a message.
Scheduling Policies
Booking Policy

Approval: Your booking is not confirmed until approved. For in-home sessions I see clients in the Akron and Cleveland Ohio areas, so locations too far away will be declined.

Payment: Credit card information is collected for no-shows, but will not be charged at booking. You can pay with credit card, cash, Venmo, PayPal at time of visit.

New Client Consultation: All new clients must complete a free 15-minute consultation.

Session Timeliness: Sessions start and end at the scheduled times. Late arrivals do not extend the session; the full fee applies.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellation Notice: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel an appointment.

Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours incur a fee of 50% of the session cost. This fee may be waived in emergencies or severe illness if notice is provided.

No-Shows: Failure to show without prior notice will result in a charge for the full session fee using the credit card on file.
Refund Policy

Practitioner Cancellations: Refunds are provided only if the practitioner cancels the appointment.

Sickness Refund: If the practitioner is unwell and cancels the session, a full refund will be issued.

Client Health: If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, or other signs of contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment.

Contagious Conditions: Notify the therapist promptly if you have a condition like the common cold, influenza, or other infections.

Health History: Provide an accurate, up-to-date health history and inform your therapist of any changes.

Pre-Session Guidelines: Arrive clean on the day of your session and avoid heavy meals within two hours prior.

Substance Use: Arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol will result in cancellation.
Professionalism & Boundaries

Respect: All clients and the practitioner are expected to be treated with respect.

Therapeutic Focus: Only the area being worked on will be exposed during the massage; full draping is maintained throughout. The genital area is never exposed or massaged.

Scope of Practice: Our services focus on therapeutic massage. Consult your doctor for acute injuries or conditions outside our expertise.

Conduct: Harassment or behavior that compromises safety will terminate the session immediately without refunds.

Environment: Our space is non-smoking and odor-neutral.
Communication & Adjustments

During the Session: Inform the therapist immediately if you experience discomfort or pain.

Educational Note: Massage is not a substitute for medical care.
Privacy & Confidentiality

Confidentiality: Your personal information and health history are kept strictly confidential.

Data Protection: Session details and personal data are securely safeguarded.
